This site answers one question and keeps nothing about you while doing it.

What stays on your device

Your location, calculation method, madhhab, and display preferences are stored in your browser's local storage under cipn.* keys. They never leave your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Location

If you use "Use my location", the coordinates are read by your browser and used locally to compute prayer windows - they are not sent to us. The fallback /api/geo endpoint returns the approximate city Cloudflare already derives from the connection; we do not store your IP address or any identifier.

We do not track you

We run no analytics of any kind: no analytics cookies, no fingerprinting, and no profile of you across sites or visits. We do not know who you are. If a sponsor card is shown it is a static, clearly labelled card served from this site; clicking it passes through a counter that records only that a click happened - no cookies, no user IDs.

Advertising

The advertising on this site is served by HalalSpark. Showing an ad means loading a script from their servers, and that script is the one third-party code on this site. We checked what it does before enabling it: it does not fingerprint you, and it does not read or write cookies from the page. It does use session storage and an intersection observer to tell whether the ad was actually seen, it makes requests to fetch the ad, and the server it loads from sets its own bot-protection cookie (__cf_bm) on its own domain.

Your location, your madhhab, and your settings are never sent to it. Ads never block the page and never load before your answer, and they sit below the content so they can never cover the verdict. If you would rather it were not there at all, we understand; it is what keeps the tool free.

Offline

The app caches its own files so it works offline. All prayer-time computation happens in your browser.
