Where the prayer times come from
For every country, this is how canipraynow.com gets its prayer times. Where a national authority publishes its own timetable and we have been able to scrape it, the app serves those exact official times. Everywhere else the times are computed astronomically for your coordinates - which agrees with the local authority to within about two minutes on the times that drive the prohibited-window answer (sunrise, zenith, sunset).
Official timetables in use: Sri Lanka. More are added as their authorities' timetables are scraped (a yearly refresh).
